Spry Middle School students honored for helping classmate
A group of Webster students are being honored for doing the right thing and helping a family impacted by a deadly fire.
Carmen Pilato and his sons, 16-year-old Peter and 12-year-old Joshua were killed in the fire last December. The boys' mother and younger sister survived the fire.
Friends of Elizabeth Pilato at Spry Middle School in Webster made bracelets and sold them at school. They asked everyone who purchased one to make a wish for the Pilato family.
The group raised $600 for Elizabeth and her family.
