Penfield Applebee's "calling" for sports fans and collectors | Events

Celebrity photos, sports items, and local memorabilia are among dozens of items that customers can bid on at the Penfield Applebee’s.

From now through Sunday March 11, items on the restaurant's walls will be up for auction as the restaurant prepares for its upcoming remodel. All proceeds from the auctionwill benefit the local Make-A-Wish Foundation chapter to help grant the wishes of children diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition.

All bids must be made through the Applebee’s restaurant manager on-duty by 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, and items must be paid for in cash. Customers have until Monday, March 12 to pick up purchased items.

The silent auction will take place at the Applebee’s restaurant on Empire Boulevard.
