Penfield Symphony Orchestra to present "Holiday Celebration" | Events

The Penfield Symphony Orchestra (PSO) helps you get into a festive mood with a “Holiday Celebration” Concert on Sunday December 2. Commencing with Mendelssohn’s triumphant, celebratory Reformation Symphony (No. 5 in D major), the orchestra will also debut a new work that features a handbell choir as the solo instrument: “God Rest You Merry, Bells”, composed especially for the PSO. There will be two Sleigh Rides, a Polar Express, a Winter Wonderland, and a Holiday Sing-a-long to get everyone in the mood for festivities.

Tickets are $14 for adults and $12 for seniors. Students of any age with student ID. may attend the concert free. Tickets are available online at www.PenfieldSymphony.org, at local ticket outlets, including all area Wegmans, and at the door at Penfield High School on High School Drive in Penfield.
