Community forum on bullying to be held in Penfield May 3

Families and community members are invited to attend a citizens awareness forum on cyber and bully abuse on Thursday, May 3 at 7 p.m. at Baywinde Community, 200 Kidd Castle Way, Penfield.

The event, presented by Citizens Against Teen Suicide (C.A.T.S.) and the Bullying Awareness Community of Webster will feature guest speaker Dr. Sam McQuade III, professor at RIT and nationally recognized authority on cyberbullying.

Other special guests include Sen. Mike Nozzolio, Penfield Supervisor Tony LaFountain, Kurt F. Karshick, of Xelex Technologies, a mother who will share her story, and student representation Alyssa Trahan. Refreshments will be provided.

Pre-registration is advised but not required by calling 585-787-4287.
