St. Joseph School in Penfield to hold open house | News

St. Joseph School in Penfield is holding an open house for prospective families on Thursday from 9-10:30am and 6:30-8pm. Families will get the opportunity to meet Principal Sister Christina Marie Luczynski as well as faculty, staff, and parents. 

The parish-operated Catholic elementary school is located on Gebhardt Road(off Five Mile Line Road, near the Four Corners of Penfield). It is home to 400 students in grades PreK through 6th grade.

St. Joseph’s offers after school care for students providing parents with a child care option in a nurturing environment up until 6 p.m. every day school is in session.  The school also offers an enrichment program, featuring crafts, sports, and cooking classes for interested students.  October is a busy and enjoyable month at the school, with school pictures, Grandparents' Day on October 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and the annual Halloween family dance on Friday, October 28 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Details about all of these events and programs will be available at the open house.
