Kristin McElheny named to University of New Haven's Honor Society for Experiential Education | News
Kristin McElheny, of Penfield, was recently inducted along with 70 other students into the University of New Haven's Honor Society for Experiential Education.
To be inducted, students had to complete two experiences, such as a faculty-mentored research project, an internship, an academic service learning project or a study abroad excursion. The student must also be ranked in the top 20 percent of his or her class.
The society supports intellectual development through research, encouraging the development of professional integrity, stimulating community engagement, promoting global awareness and preparing students for purposeful lives.
