A local financial group says it will be doing its part to help the families of the West Webster Fire Department.

Foundation Financial Group will be launching a philanthropic event to honor Webster Police Lieutenant Mike Chiapperini and Tomasz Kaczowka who were killed responding to a house fire on Christmas Eve.

Employees of Foundation Financial’s Rochester office have established the FFG West Webster Fallen Heroes initiative and employees here and across the nation are donating personal funds and fundraising for the initiative and the company will match what its employees raise.
