Fairport and Penfield Little Leagues play in Championship Game
The Little League District 4 Championship game for 11 and 12-year-olds will be played Wednesday. District 4 represents leagues in Monroe County as well as outlying areas and this age is the group that is playing to ultimately make it to Williamsport and the Little League World Series.
Tonight, the Fairport American vs. Penfield National will play at 6:00pm at the Zabkar Field at the Penfield Little League Complex at the Penfield Town Hall on Atlantic Avenue.Each team earned their spot in the championship by playing other Little League teams around the area in pool play. Both teams won their semi-final games to bring them to the finals.
