County Judge Frank Geraci nominated for federal judgeship | People
President Obama has officially nominated Monroe County Court Judge Frank Geraci for a spot on the federal bench.
Geraci has been a county court judge for more than 13 years. He served a city court judge before that. Geraci is a McQuaid graduate, and once worked as an assistant district attorney.
President Obama calls Geraci highly qualified, and a valuable addition to the U.S. District Court in Western New York.
Geraci was recommended by Senator Chuck Schumer, whose nominee last year, former D.A. Mike Green, was never confirmed.
